----There will be an ALL member DECA meeting tomorrow, 5/11, morning. We will discuss lettering, elections, the DECA Banquet, Round-up and the end of the year activities. Please be there as soon as the doors open up.----

----April 21st there will be Cosmic Bowling at Skyway Lanes from 9-11pm. If you don't have prior plans, come out and get your bowl on. Help support DECA nationals.----

----If you want to take the Financial Literacy Seminar Test, please go to Mrs. Oatney's room during your seminar. Top score will win a gift card. If you didn't attend any of the seminars, notes from the seminars are down on the DECA board.----
----DECA will be having their Annual Garage Sale at the high school parking lot on April 9 from 7am-noon. Money raised will help DECA students go to nationals in Orlando, Florida. Donations will gladly be accepted.----

----If you ordered a "I heart Lansing Lions" spirit shirt and did not get it, please see Mr. Myers. If you want to order one, you need to see Mr. Myers by the Wednesday after Spring Break, 3/23. This will be the last order that will be put in.----

----Congratulations to Lansing DECA on their accomplishments at State earlier this week. The following people placed: Philip Hawley/Courtney Watson/Nick Whetstone- 1st Place DECA Quiz Bowl (out of 24 teams!), Kyla Thrasher-5th place Business Services Marketing, John Nachtsheim- 9th place Quick Serve Restaurant Management, Bridget McKenzie- 10th place Quick Serve Restaurant Management, Allie Ewing- 4th place Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Jenna Hoing/Jami Hunter- 5th place Buying and Merchandising Team Event, Courtney Watson/Nick Whetstone- 7th place Travel and Tourism Team Event, and John Nachtsheim/Keli Myracle- 1st place Buying and Merchandising Research Event. Jami Hunter, Kyla Thrasher, Courtney Watson, Nick Whetstone, Philip Hawley, John Nachtsheim, and Keli Myracle qualified for Nationals in Orlando, FL at the end of April. Great job everyone!!----

---- There will be a DECA meeting tomorrow, 1/20 at 7:20AM for all members. Any student who would like to join DECA, there will be a sign up table at lunch today(1/19) for you to join today. Please come to the first meeting tomorrow at 7:20 AM in room 200. We will conduct Sophomore class elections Thursday morning so if you are planning on running make sure you are ready with a speech. If you have a conflict with the competition this Thursday, you need to see Myers ASAP.----
----All DECA members need to stop by room 200 ASAP to fill out paperwork, if you did not come by on the morning of JAnuary 13th.----
----There will be a DECA meeting on January 5th for board members at 7:00am and 7:20am for ALL members.--
----Any student that has lost their student ID and needs a replacement, please stop by Room 200(Myers) to sign up for a new ID. The cost is $3 and is due BEFORE your ID will be printed. Remember, you can not get into any sporting events for free without your student ID.----
----There will be a Holiday Party at 7:15am on December 25th in Myers' Room.----

----DECA will be selling Holiday Grams next week Monday, 12/13 through Wednesday, 12/15 at lunch for $1. Send an appropriate message to that someone special for the Holidays. Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like cardstock and candy canes.----
----There will be a DECA meeting November 10th morning for cabinet members at 7am and all members at 7:20am. If you cannot attend, please see Myers sometime Wednesday. There will be optional competition practice November 9th after school for any student who is competing in tomorrow's competition. November 10th is you last day to register for the Kennel Breakout, cost will be $20 and done at the event.----
----If you missed the DECA meeting on November 3rd, you need to stop by and see Mr. Myers.---
 ----DECA will be selling Boo grams at lunch today, 10/27, and tomorrow, 10/28. Stop by and send a message to your friends along with a little treat. Cost is $1 and grams will be sent out Friday, 10/29. If you missed the DECA meeting this morning, you need to stop by Room 200 to meet with Myers----
----Register now for the Kennel Breakout 5K Run and 1 Mile walk! The run, sponsored by DECA, will be held at 5:00 PM on November 10th. All proceeds from the event will go to the Leavenworth Animal Welfare Society. The event is $15 and participants will receive a t-shirt. After the race, there will be a spaghetti dinner hosted by the Kiwanis Club. A $5 donation for dinner is greatly appreciated. Pick up a registration form in the front office or from Mr. Myers in Room E200. You may register online at
